The band formed in 2021 with members from Springfield and Bloomington. The band consists of Ed Smith (lead vocals, guitar), Kerri Donovan (bass, vocals), Bruce Lane (keyboards) and Cory Burris (vocals/drums). Wowie Zowie is exclusively sponsored by El Bandido Yankee Tequila.
